Running in Glass Shoes

I'm just a girl...

I won't say that I'm a normal girl because, to be honest, I don't know what normal is.

I stand at 5'4 tall but stride around in 6inch heels. At the moment they're from Topshop but one day they'll be Louboutin.

I often forget that it's a case of 'one day' and shop way too much. I find it all too easy to justify that 'necessary' purchase, and even though my two wardrobes are bursting at the seams I still have absolutely nothing to wear.

I'm not afraid to admit I care about the way I look. I'm not perfect, but I've still got a lot of growing to do. Perfect is just another dream that I haven't quite achieved yet.

I live in my own world and I quite like it there. Maybe it's a little self-indulgent, but then who isn't? Life is made up of dreams and my dreams are big. Ballerina, actress, model, saviour of Africa, fashionista... I was once told I was 'over-ambitious'. I still don't believe that there is such a thing, it's got to be better than my year book most likely 'to marry a rich man to get famous' my classmates kindly gave me.

I dash from one thing to another in my ridiculous heels, the clothes I can't afford, with the boys that are no good for me, laughing with my girlfriends and always chasing dreams. It's what life is all about right?
